The Hazelhurst Lions Club has a few events coming up during the month of August.
The Lions will be flipping pancakes from 8 until 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 4 at the Hazelhurst Town Hall. Beside the homemade “secret recipe” pancakes, hungry patrons will find scrambled eggs and Jones sausage links. Orange juice, coffee or milk will round out the menu.
From 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Aug. 17 and 18, come to the Hazelhurst Ballpark filled with flea market vendors as well as a variety of crafters and artists. Vendor spaces are still available for $35. Contact Judy Cassady at 715 356-6230 or email [email protected]
On Aug. 18, classic car enthusiasts will see awesome vehicles parked around the perimeter of the ballpark. For car show entry information, contact Dan Carney at 715 356-7595.
Hazelhurst Lions Club cooks will be flipping burgers at the two events on Aug. 17 and 18. Grilled hot dogs, brats, and beverages will also be available.
Profits from these and other Hazelhurst Lions Club fundraisers will go to Lions Camp in Rosholt, the Leader Dog program, LUHS scholorships, Peace Poster Contest, Hazelhurst Fire Department, the Pastime Club, Lakeland Food Pantry, Lakeland Hospice, and many other community needs.
