Bell Tower dementia seminar on Oct. 8

Bell Tower Residences is hosting a special one-day seminar “The heart remembers. Always.” for medical professionals, family members and friends caring for a loved one with dementia and people who may be experiencing signs of early-stage dementia. 

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Bell Tower Residence Assisted Living, 1500 O’Day Street in Merrill.

This engaging and lively event offers a look into enhancing the lives of a loved one with unique presentations from Chaplain S. Rose Heil on “Spirituality,” Elder Law Attorney Janet M. Lattyak on “Plan While You Can: A checklist for Families Facing Dementia” from the legal and financial to thinking about care needs across the dementia journey, Transitions Home Health on “Enhancing the Lives of Seniors with Activity and “Music & Memory” with administrator Kris McGarigle.

The seminar is open to the public and CEUs are available for professionals. Cost is $15 and includes lunch. Register by calling 715-536-5575 or register at the event.
