Boulder Junction Area Boat Landing Improvement Fund gives to local projects

September 13, 2019

Boulder Junction Chamber Board members presented the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources a check in the amount $6,000 towards the purchase of new aluminum roll-in pier at Upper Gresham Lake, as well as improving the White Sand Lake (Boulder Junction) Landing, which will include new blacktop.

The Boulder Junction Area Boat Landing Improvement Fund helps fund these two projects. The Fund, which is made possible by the Boulder Junction Chamber of Commerce’s annual ice fishing tournament, Frozen Tozen, has been in existence since 2007. Over the past 12 years, over $16,000 has been given to projects which ease accessibility to area lakes. Save the date for this coming season’s Frozen Tozen — Feb. 1, 2020 on Boulder Lake.
