Boulder Junction’s Frozen Tozen Ice Fishing Tournament cancelled

January 31, 2020

The Frozen Tozen Ice Fishing Tournament scheduled in Boulder Junction for Saturday, Feb. 1 has been cancelled due to lake conditions. However, the raffle drawing will still take place at Headwaters Restaurant and Tavern at 5 p.m. The general public is encouraged to attend.

This year’s grand raffle prize is Winter Sports Package from Northern Highland Sports. The package includes ice fishing equipment, snowshoes, apparel, gift certificate and more — valued at over $300. Many other fantastic prizes will also be raffled off. Tickets are just $1 each or six for $5.

All raffle proceeds will go to the Boulder Junction Area Boat Landing Improvement Fund. The Fund, which is made possible by the Boulder Junction Chamber of Commerce’s annual ice fishing tournament, Frozen Tozen, has been in existence since 2007. Over the past 12 years, over $15,000 has been given to projects which ease accessibility to area lakes. The most recent donation, in the amount $6000.00, went towards the purchase of new aluminum roll-in pier at Upper Gresham Lake as well as improving the White Sand Lake Landing including new blacktop.

For more information call the Boulder Junction Chamber at 715-385-2400.
