Campanile Center for the Arts announces the 2019-20 season

Campanile Center for the Arts has announced the schedule of shows for the 2018-19 season. This season is a combination of brand new as well as Northwoods favorites. 

The season welcomes a couple of programs whose performers rose to national prominence on America’s Got Talent. It’s all rounded out with bluegrass, country, and celtic music — Northwoods favorites. 

Tickets can be purchased online at www. campanilecenter.org, by phone at 715-356-9700, or stopping by the box office at 131 W. Milwaukee Street in downtown Minocqua.

Barley Jacks 

Kick-off Beef-A-Rama at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26 with Brian Wicklund and the Barley Jacks’ blend of original bluegrass, Celtic and roots music played with acrobatic skill and soul. They are masters of the fiddle, guitar, bass, and drum who meld their divergent backgrounds of blues and bluegrass, classical and Celtic, R&B and bebop to inspire each other and create something entirely new.


With a flair for the wild and unexpected and music that defies classification, this trio brings the refinement of a rigorous classical background and infuses it with charisma at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. Whether performing their take on pop, jazz, movie themes, or classical tunes, Take3 brings roof-raising energy to their performances and have been exhilarating audiences across the country.

That Golden Girls Show! – A Puppet Parody

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27. ‘That Golden Girls Show!’ is a brand-new show that parodies classic “Golden Girls” moments — with puppets. Devoted fans will fondly remember our four girls from Miami, and for the first-timers, this will be a joyful introduction to the brilliance of that television series.

Jeff Dayton Band salute to Glen Campbell

At 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15. This heartwarming evening of Glen Campbell’s biggest hits and the stories behind them is made even more special because they are delivered by Glen’s right-hand man for 15 years, band leader and guitarist Jeff Dayton. Enjoy a night of intimate, fun and uplifting music from America’s TV favorite and Hall of Fame legend — Glen Campbell.

Paddy Homan and the Noble Call

At 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14. Hailing from County Cork, Paddy Homan isn’t just another name on the list of Ireland’s gifted tenors; he is a natural, elevating traditional Irish songs to new heights. Paddy doesn’t just create an atmosphere of beautiful music, but rather, crafts an authentic Irish experience. Join Paddy Homan and his group in “The Noble Call Christmas Show,” which will take you back to the “hearth” of an Irish Christmas, filled with songs, stories, rousing music and traditional Irish dancing.

3 Redneck Tenors

At. 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020. The 3 Redneck Tenors are a new breed in the “tenor genre” — their musical comedy featuring classically trained veteran artists is like Duck Dynasty goes to Carnegie Hall — down home laughs with big city music. It has been said that if Larry the Cable Guy, Il Divo, and Mrs. Doubtfire had a baby, that child would be The 3 Redneck Tenors. Written by opera-veteran Matthew Lord with music arranged by award-winning composer Craig Bohmler, and starring Mr. Lord, Blake Davidson, and Jonathan Fruge, the 3 Redneck Tenors were top finalists on “America’s Got Talent” and have been thrilling audiences since 2006.

Get ready for one side splitting ride only the 3 Redneck Tenors could have had ... delighting audiences with their vocal prowess and a smorgasbord of songs and music ranging from gospel, to country, to Broadway, pop, and classical.


At 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Catapult is a family friendly show. The talented Catapult dancers work behind a screen to create seemingly impossible dancing shadow images of shapes from the world around us. Watch these incredible dancers become a mountain, a full size elephant, a helicopter, a house with a window and people inside the window. Audiences of all ages love what appear to be effortless transformations and applaud over and over as more and more unbelievable images appear.

Mutts Gone Nuts!

Two showings, at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2020.

Expect the unexpected as canines and comedy collide in a smash hit performance, that’s leaving audiences everywhere howling for more. From shelters to showbiz, these amazing mutts unleash havoc and hilarity in a breathtaking, action-packed, comedy dog spectacular, featuring some of the world’s most talented 4-legged performers.
