November 28, 2019

The annual Christmas in Minocqua event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 30 in downtown Minocqua starting at noon.

From noon to 4 p.m., horse-drawn wagon rides start at Veterans Park, and the Boy Scout Venture Crew #564 will have roasted chestnuts available.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a loop around downtown Minocqua on a horse-drawn wagon before arriving at Gaslight Square at 1 p.m. The pair will visit with children at the Gaslight Square Shoppes from 1 until 4 p.m.

Bring a camera to take pictures with Santa. Children’s crafts and activities will also be happening at the Square. After visiting with children at Gaslight Square, Santa and Mrs. Claus will lead the way to Veterans Park for carols and the official lighting of the Christmas display at approximately 4 p.m. A holiday campfire and hot chocolate will be available courtesy of Lakeland Union High School Model UN.
