Colin F. Shultz American Legion Post 318 Legion/Auxiliary Picnic on Aug. 22

The Colin F. Shultz American Legion Post 318 in Lake Tomahawk is hosting a Legion/Auxiliary Picnic beginning with morning fishing at 8 a.m. on Aug. 22. The picnic will follow at noon. 

Morning fishing will start at the Rainbow Flowage Boat Ramp Launch 7256 County Hwy D. 

The noon picnic will be held entering the private drive 7248 and 7270 County D to the American Legion Landing for Camp American Legion, and the address post signs say Town of Newbold. 

There will be hamburgers and brats on the grill, plus deep fried fresh caught fish from the morning’s fishing. Dishes to pass include mac salad, broccoli salad, potato salad, fruit salad, beans, chips, pickles and olives. Cake and cookies will be available for dessert. Everyone is welcome to bring more dishes to pass to add to what already is being brought for the picnic menu. Bring water and beverage drinks of your choosing.

Horseshoe, Boccie Ball and Bean Bag Toss will also be played by picnickers.
