October 18, 2019

The friends of Mike Doud are sponsoring an Oktoberfest event from 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Arbor Vitae Town Hall, 10675 Big Arbor Vitae Rd.

Admission is free and there will be family fun for all ages. Beer and wine, brats, pretzels and more will be available. Photo booth props, raffles, pie sales, pumpkins, henna tattoos and kids games from 2 to 4 p.m are sure to keep everyone entertained.

Live music includes polka by Richie Yurkovich & Polkaroity from 2 to 5 p.m. and the Influence from 6 to 9 p.m.

Doud was the president of the Dr. Kate Museum, a U.S. Army veteran, a Lakeland Union High School class of 1965 graduate, and Woodruff Town Board supervisor, and passed Sept. 30 at Hospice House. Funds from this event are going towards his medical expenses.
