Cranberry marsh tours in Manitowish Waters begin July 12

The Manitowish Waters Chamber of Commerce and Cranberry Growers Association are kicking off the Cranberry Growing season on Friday, July 12. Free, one-hour tours will be offered every Friday through Oct. 4. 

These tours will begin at the Manitowish Waters Community Center. The tour is held rain or shine, pre-registration is not required and all ages are welcome. The educational tour includes a short video, cranberry juice/craisin samples, prize drawings, information display and Q&A. Then, follow a guide in your own vehicles to the Vilas Cranberry Company Marsh (12825 Alder Lake Road) for an up-close look at the marsh.
