DNR shuts down hunter safety classes in Oneida County

Hunter Nation files lawsuit against agency for canceling classes

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office has canceled its hunter safety course scheduled for next week after the Department of Natural Resources refused to recognize the classes, prompting a firestorm of criticism against the DNR from the sheriff’s department, state lawmakers, outraged sports clubs, and others.
