Ed Schaub resigns as board president after 34 years

After nearly 40 years of service on the Lakeland Union High School Board of Education, board president Ed Schaub announced on May 19 his resignation from the board.

Schaub departs the board following 34 total years of service, 18 total years as board president.

First elected to the board in 1977, Schaub served a three-year term as a board member, with one year as president in 1980 before serving on the Arbor Vitae-Woodruff Board of Education for seven months.
