The days are shorter, the nights are cooler, and the leaves are changing. Time to head out to Copper Falls State Park for the Fall Festival, sponsored by the Friends of Copper Falls, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. This family fun event has something for everyone.
A special event this year will be a musical tribute from the CCC era presented by Bill Jamerson. He will be performing at noon at the pavilion. Activities for children include pumpkin carving (while supplies last) and T-shirt stamping. There will be demonstrations, a Chinese raffle and a brat fry. A guided walk on the North Country Trail begins at 1 p.m. Park admission is free.
