‘Final Affairs’ seminar in Eagle River on Nov. 7

On Thursday, Nov. 7, Aging and Disability Resource Centers of Oneida and Vilas County in collaboration with Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will be offering a free seminar at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Eagle River from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  

“Final Affairs” has been planned as a guide to arranging personal, health, and legal affairs. Topics will include “Trusts versus Wills” by attorney Collin Mettelka, Law Firm Moustakis & Mettelka; “Funeral Planning” by Tom Busha, Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home; “Financial Planning” by Michael Boyd, Boyd Financial Service LLC; and “Advance Health Care Planning” by Colette Zunk, Marshfield Clinic social worker.  

Also, included that day is a “Final Affairs” workbook for participants to take home and use to organize important information. Seating is limited; call the ADRC of Vilas County at 715-479-3725 for advanced registration by Nov. 5.
