LAGS meets Jan. 14

January 10, 2020

Lakeland Area Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, in the Susan and Roger Smith meeting room at the Minocqua Public Library. This month’s program will be entitled “Formulating a DNA Testing Plan.” The group will watch a Blaine Bettinger Webinar from Legacy Family Tree. Those who have been undecided about venturing into this aspect of their family history will find helpful hints.

LAGS is a group of local genealogists of varying degrees of expertise and experience. They meet once a month (with exception of July and December) at the Minocqua Library. There is a short business meeting followed by a program of interest to the members. The public is always welcome to come and see what it is about and maybe join them in unlocking the mysteries of their own family histories.
