Local government officials invited to free webinar July 21 on how to access resources

All local government officials are invited to attend a free webinar Tuesday, July 21, to learn about several different state and federal funding and resource opportunities to help their governing bodies make it through these challenging times.

The session specifically for local municipalities, counties and cities will run from 8 to 11 a.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from the Small Business Association, Wisconsin Procurement Institute, and the Grow North Economic Development Corporation. Topics will include applying for funding, including CARES Act funds, contracting with local vendors, and connecting with other entities who face the same challenges to find innovate solutions.

The event is being sponsored by The Grid, the Wisconsin Procurement Institute, Grow North Regional Economic Development Corporation, and the Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
