LOLA Porch Songs music series features The Brothers Burn Mountain on July 18

Summer is starting to heat up and so is the lineup for this year’s Porch Songs at LOLA in Land O’ Lakes. Porch Songs is a free outdoor music series on select Thursdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the LOLA porch. Bring an outdoor chair to take in live music this summer with LOLA.
There are seven artists scheduled. All are free and open to the public. Rain location is inside the Snowflake building behind the Land O’ Lakes Town Hall. Additional free music performances will be held on Make Music Day, June 21 in downtown Land O’ Lakes starting at 10 a.m.
July 18: The Brothers Burn Mountain. Ryan and Jesse Dermody, from Duluth, bring all original music as an energetic, eclectic, singer/songwriter duo of brothers.
July 25: Beth Hassler. Viola and violin player from Eagle River, Hassler features music from the Baroque period, Irish folk tunes, world music and jazz.
Aug. 8: Scott Kirby. Scott Kirby is an alternative, blues/rock, singer/songwriter from Rhinelander, with original music.
Aug. 15: MeMo. Trevor Moore and Jim Meiers are an acoustic rock duo from Eagle River, rooted in the 1970s classics.
Aug. 22: Woodland String Band. They are a band of string musicians from the Northwoods with an array of fiddle tunes, Mariachi, show tunes, jazz, classical and pop music.
