Loon Watch in need of volunteers

The LoonWatch program is a program of the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute at Northland College. The program is dedicated to education, monitoring and research of the region’s loon populations. Once every five years, a statewide loon population survey takes place to look at the effectiveness of current conservation efforts in relation to the loon populations in the state.
