Mental Health Awareness program in Minocqua on Sept. 11

September 10, 2019

One in five adults experiences a mental health condition every year. In addition to someone directly experiencing a mental illness, family, friends and communities are also affected.

At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, (after the 5:15 worship service), Ascension Lutheran Church, 7937 Highway 51 South Minocqua, will host a Mental Health Awareness program, featuring a licensed therapist, a family counselor, and a speaker from NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). An open discussion, with questions and answers, will be held after.

This event is open to the public at no cost. For more information, contact the church at 715-356-4426.
