Mercer Free Store accepting donations

May 08, 2020

The Mercer Free Store, run by the Church of the Nazarene in Mercer, is now taking donations. Donations should be dropped off in front of the church doors. No furniture, no large appliances are currently being accepted.

Organizers plan to reopen the store to the public starting on Monday, May 18, with new summer hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They will also be open on Memorial Day.

Those in need sooner should call to make an appointment. All are welcome to come and take what is needed without charge and without filling out any forms. This is a neighbor helping neighbor ministry.

Anyone ages 12 and up are encouraged to volunteer for days or hours which work best.  Call Pastor Kitty Schwanke with any questions at 715-776-0192. The church of the Nazarene is on Hwy 51 in Mercer, the Free Store is directly across the street.
