Minocqua Museum seeks volunteers

August 16, 2019

The Minocqua Museum began the 2019 summer season on June 10. Volunteers are needed for the month of August to greet visitors and guide them through the numerous exhibits. A three hour time commitment one day a week is all that is required; either 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 to 4 p.m.

The museum is open Monday through Friday until Labor Day. Volunteers will receive training and work in pairs.

Anyone interested in preserving and sharing Minocqua’s history is welcome to volunteer- students, local residents, visitors, and retirees.

The museum is at 503 Flambeau Street in downtown Minocqua, across from the Campanile Center.

For more information or to volunteer, call either Joan at 715-892-7166 or Bonnie at 715-356-6889.
