Minocqua Town Board discusses house options

Voters authorized the purchase in November; town will advertise for proposals

In November 2019, Minocqua voters gave approval for the purchase by the town of a home at 408 East Chicago Avenue, next door and to the west of the Minocqua police station. 

The purchase price: $150,000. 

Since that time, little has been done with the house with the exception of asbestos mitigation, some storage of material by the town’s public works department in the garage on the property and use of the house by the Minocqua fire department to conduct training.
