Native American Inculturated Service on Sept. 29

September 27, 2019

St. Matthias Episcopal Church in Minocqua will celebrate the quarterly Native American inculturated service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29.

People of all faiths, cultures, and races are encouraged to attend.

Elements of Native American culture, such as drumming, dancing, smudging (the practice of burning botanicals, usually sage, sweetgrass and cedar and using the smoke to cleanse, balance and purify), and the much-loved, traditional, four-direction prayer will be included in this beautiful service.

Feel free to bring a dish to pass for the potluck feast afterward. All are welcome.
