Northwoods Wildlife Center Fall Open House on Oct. 19

The Northwoods Wildlife Center will host the 7th annual Fall Open House from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 8683 S Blumenstein Road, Minocqua. 

A variety of fun activities are planned for the whole family, including pumpkin painting and other fall nature crafts, s’mores around the campfire, tasty autumn treats, hot cocoa and cider, even meet some of the education ambassador animals.

Find out about all the new projects, get a rare behind-the-scenes tour of how the Northwoods Wildlife Center staff and volunteers care for hundreds of wildlife patients each year. 

The Northwoods Wildlife Center was established in 1979 by the late Dr. Rory Foster of the Northwoods Animal Hospital. For 40 years, his vision has grown to one of the largest and oldest wildlife rehabilitation and education centers in Wisconsin.  

Recommended $5 donation per person goes towards Northwoods Wildlife Center’s mission to provide a better future for wildlife through rehabilitation, education, and research. For more information on Open House activities, call the wildlife center at 715-356-7400.
