Northwoods Wildlife Center provides free education programs July 20

July 19, 2019

The Northwoods Wildlife Center is hosting a free program at Stoney Creek Garden and Home in Minocqua on July 20. Stoney Creek has chosen the Northwoods Wildlife Center as their 2019 area non-profit to support. A portion of sales will be donated to the Northwoods Wildlife Center.

The program, “Birds of Prey,” is designed specifically to learn what wildlife is common to the Northwoods, their habitats and behaviors, and have a chance to meet several of the Wildlife Center’s educational wildlife residents as well. Program will be held three times throughout the day, at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m.

Get an up-close look at some of the Northwoods Wildlife Center’s birds of prey resident wildlife education ambassadors. Learn their natural history, habitats and how to identify them in the wild.
