NRB approves elk season quotas for 2020 hunt

This will be the third elk hunt in the state since the animals were reintroduced after being eliminated from the state in the 1880s. The deadline to get into the drawing for an elk tag was May 31, with residents vying for one of just a few tags that would be given out for the 2020 season. 

Each hunter had the option to apply through the DNR, with $10 being offered up for the chance at a tag. Additionally, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation held a raffle, with tickets being $10 each. U...
