NRB calls special meeting to reconsider reduction in antlerless tags above Hwy. 64

At last month’s Natural Resources Board (NRB) meeting, a 16-page document was prepared by board member Greg Kazmierski looking to change the antlerless quota recommendations sent on from the County Deer Advisory Committees (CDACs) for 11 counties above Highway 64. Kazmierski, and others, felt antlerless quotas should be reduced and deer herds on public lands, in many cases, had been “decimated” over the years.
