Oneida County Forestry Committee moves ahead Trout Creek dog training idea

At last month’s Oneida County Forestry Committee meeting, citizen John Fetzer spoke to the committee about the possible use of a pond near the end of Trout Creek Road for training of wetland bird dogs. County forester Paul Fiene reminded the committee about the issue, which had come before them earlier this year. It would be a place for duck dogs and retrieving dogs to be trained. Fiene said a road had been bulldozed into the area as part of a previous timber sale.
