Plum Lake voters approve three new buildings

New town garage, salt shed and community center estimated to cost more than $1.7 million

Voters in the town of Plum Lake on Tuesday authorized construction of a new 6,600-square-foot town garage, new salt shed and a new community building/recreation center. 

The estimated cost for all three is a little over $1.7 million, but town chairman Will Maines on Wednesday told The Lakeland Times as the process moves forward and final plans drawn up, there can be changes made to reduce cost if necessary.
