Shoreline plantings webinar highlights runoff mitigation

In years past, it was in vogue for lake property owners, and really all property owners, to have a perfectly manicured lawn. For riparian owners, that lawn often extended directly to the water’s edge. 

Today, though, as more and more land owners learn about the detriments of that type of lawn, there is more interest in projects that can help stop erosion, limit nutrient-loading in the lake or river, and provide habitat for native species.
