The Warehouse Arts Center calls for musicians and artists

May 08, 2020

The Warehouse Arts Center invites all musicians and performers to participate in its weekly Facebook Live version of Open Mic Lab. To participate, performers are asked to email a video of a performance, along with a short biography, to [email protected] com. Music, theater, poetry, etc. are all welcome.

The videos will be included in one of the Facebook live streams occurring at 7 p.m. each Friday with Brett Winters hosting. A maximum of six to eight artists are featured per program.

Each artist performs one act/song per video presentation, not lasting more than five to eight minutes each. Artist can submit up to three “individual” video 5-8 minute performances, which may appear on one program, or spread among the dates depending on how many videos are submitted.

An artist video performance may alternatively be featured on a Facebook post with link information, and/or a clip may appear on an Open Mic preview post.

The public is encouraged to continue checking The Warehouse website, eagleriverart.com, and Facebook page for updates regarding the performance video schedule.

The Warehouse Community Arts Center is a 501(c)3 organization and serves as Eagle River’s artistic hub, providing quality education, programming, and events that explore all aspects of creativity for all ages. More information and the schedule of events can be found online at eagleriverart.com.
