Three arrested in Eagle River meth lab raid

January 24, 2020 by Jamie Taylor

The Eagle River Police Department, with assistance from the Northcentral Drug Enforcement Group (NORDEG) and the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice Clandestine Lab Unit executed a search warrant at 916 E. Wall Street at about 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17.

According to a press release from the ERPD, three individuals at that location were arrested for involvement in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

A prior press release announced “an ongoing incident” at that address, requesting people should avoid that area until further notice, but “there is no public safety concern for people in the area.”

Precautions were taken to mitigate the volatility of the chemicals on the site that are used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

According to the second press release from ERPD detective sergeant Anthony Justice, the investigation is ongoing.
