Trapper education available online or via correspondence course

Supervised or mentored hunting still an option

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Wisconsin Trapper’s Association have come together to offer trapper education online or through a correspondence course. The class is currently open and will be until Jan. 1, 2021. 

The class is open to youth and adults of any age. The online course has previously only been offered to adults over the age of 18, but due to the health pandemic, is now being offered to all ages as a way to minimize contact with instructors and ...
