The Howard Young Foundation Board was saddened by the recent passing of Eileen Goggins-Schultz. She was an inspiring philanthropist and will be missed by all she worked with.
Goggins-Schultz served as a member and secretary of the board of directors of the Howard Young Foundation from 2013-2019. She was very instrumental in launching the Women’s Legacy Council along with Susan Holmes. This group has been the backbone behind a lot of the fundraising campaigns for the Howard Young Foundation which included the Cardiac Center, the CT scanner, the 3D mammography unit and the Tick-Borne Illness Center of Excellence.
Goggins-Schultz had a history of volunteerism and fundraising for many organizations i.e. the Board of the Wausau Conservatory of Music. She was a true philanthropist and served on various boards like Board of American Community Bank, Aspirus Health Foundation, University of Wisconsin Marathon County Foundation Board and the Wisconsin Valley Library Board. She was with the initial start-up of The Campanile Center for the Arts here in Minocqua.
She is recognized for her time, energy, expertise, insights and vision that she put into guiding the Howard Young Foundation and Women’s Legacy Council’s mission. Her contributions have made a lasting difference in our community and beyond.
