The public is invited to view the movie “Unplanned” at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 18 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff.
“Unplanned” is the true story of Abby Johnson. All Johnson ever wanted to do was to help women. She believed in a women’s right to choose, and as one of the youngest Planned Parenthood clinic directors in the nation, she was involved in upwards of 22,000 abortions. Then the day came when she saw something that would change everything for her. What she saw led her to become one of the most ardent pro-life advocates in America.
“Unplanned” is a film that speaks to one of the most polarizing topics of the time. It brings an eye-opening look inside the abortion industry through one woman’s inspiring true story of transformation.
Due to some graphic scenes, this movie is not suitable for young children. There is no charge, but a free-will offering will be taken to benefit Lutherans for Life.
