Land O’ Lakes Arts (LOLA) continues to roll out more adult classes, while taking best precautions to make students and teachers feel comfortable and safe during classes. In addition to social distancing and sanitizing, classes are limited in students where each student has their own work space/table and supplies.
Mixed media class
“Light as a 2x4 Assemblage & Watercolor” class will be held with assemblage artist Sarah S. Thompson, designed to spark creativity. Learn the art of assemblage along with some watercolor technique.
Paint a small watercolor of a feather and adhere it to a 24-inch long 2x4 painted to complement the watercolor. Then finish the piece with found objects. Templates will be provided to create an owl or a raven image.
Class will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, at the LOLA Center. Cost of class is $50 for adults, teens, and children 10 and up. Some supplies needed. Deadline for registration is July 25.
