The free “Winter Wellness” presentation series has returned to the library. The public is invited; registration is not necessary but appreciated. Refreshments will be served. Presentations are from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. with the following topics:

• Tuesday, Jan. 28, “Fitness: It’s Not That Hard!” with Suzi Hammer, Manitowish Waters Athletic Club (MAC) Supervisor and Fitness Instructor.

• Tuesday, Feb. 4, “Foot Health, Wellness Tips, Free Demos and More” with Jane Thomas, Certified Ingham Foot and Hand Reflexologist.

The Books and Brews Book Club will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 7 p.m. at Aqualand Ale House with the selection “Laughing Boy” by Oliver La Farge. Come early for dinner.

The Book Club will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 12 with the selection “The Last Town on Earth” by Thomas Mullen. The book club will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the library.

The Children’s After School Reading Program meets Tuesdays, from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. at the library.

The Knitting Club meets the first and third Wednesday each month, from 10 a.m. to noon at the community center. All skill level knitters and crocheters are welcome.

Check the library’s website or their Facebook page for closing due to inclement weather this winter. To reserve your copy of the book club’s selection, call the library or use the Merlin catalogue system.
