Vilas County board passes resolution opposing hostile acts

On May 2, 2020, St. Germain resident James Kelsey was arrested for discharging a firearm while intoxicated. 

The arrest at his residence on Little St. Germain Lake was the result of a 911 call to the dispatch center of the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office by Greg Johnson of Lac du Flambeau, who told the dispatcher he was in a boat on Little St. Germain Lake and exercising his “tribal rights to spear fish.”
