Wetland Coffee Breaks look at birding in wetland areas

The Wisconsin Wetlands Association has been holding Wetland Coffee Breaks since May every Friday at 10:30 a.m., and will continue to hold them every other week through the summer. One of the past Coffee Break topics was birding in wetland areas. Kari Hagenow from the Nature Conservancy lead the discussion.

Hagenow said birds use wetlands in many ways, especially along their migration routes, as well as for breeding. That makes this a great time of year to be birding in wetland areas....
