Winchester Town Board considers a road management consultant

Wainio: ‘None of us here are road experts’

Each year, town board members from all over the Lakeland area set up a time to tour the town’s roads, coming up with a list of roads that ultimately goes out for bid as part of that year’s road projects. 

The town of Winchester, with a little more than 43 miles of road, may be one of the first towns, if not the first town, in the Lakeland area, to have a road management consultant.
