The Friends of the Boulder Junction Public Library will be hosting the 18th annual Wine & Beer Tasting from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Boulder Junction Community Center, 5392 Park Street, Boulder Junction.
A ticket donation of $20 per person will be taken at the door or purchase tickets in advance at the library. Ticket price includes the wine and beer tasting, plentiful appetizers, delicious desserts and one free general raffle ticket.
The Friends will be offering a fantastic collection of wines and beers with assistance from a few local businesses. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
Each ticket donation will receive one free general raffle ticket and additional raffle tickets will be offered for $1 each. Members of the Friends of the Library and local businesses have donated wonderful gift baskets, as well as store merchandise and gift certificates. Raffle tickets may only be purchased the night of the event and winner must be present to win.
The Friends will be repeating the popular silent auction. Local merchants, craftsmen and Friends members have donated high quality, unique items which will be offered through a silent auction instead of the raffle. Winner must be present to pay for silent auction bids.
All proceeds from the event will be used to help with library operating expenditures. Participants must be 21 years of age. For more information, call the Boulder Junction Public Library at 715-385-2050.
