AIS monitoring virtual workshop on July 22

July 17, 2020

As the threat of aquatic invasive species (AIS) continues to grow in Oneida County, there is a need for volunteers to be “eyes on the water” and help protect the lakes. The Oneida County AIS Program is filling that need with the AIS monitoring workshop “Aquatic Invasive Species Lurking in Our Waters” via Zoom, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22.

This online workshop will provide an overview of the AIS in the Northwoods, AIS identification, impacts, rules and regulations, prevention, monitoring techniques, and how to report AIS sightings. Register in advance for this meeting at https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJAsduqvrjsjGtAzddftgqHsFqgEfx3HHTdO

After registering, a confirmation email will be received containing information about joining the meeting.
