Boulder Junction Library Children’s Summer Reading Program begins June 17

June 12, 2020

Readers of all ages will dream big, believe in themselves, and create their own story as the Boulder Junction Public Library presents “Imagine Your Story” children’s summer reading program. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be any in-person programs; however, children will still receive reading logs, pick up “take and make” activities and view virtual presentations.

Children age preschool through eighth grade are welcome to participate starting June 17. The library is offering a variety of “take and make” crafts, activities, brain teasers, and virtual presenters.

Children who participate will also receive a weekly reading log. Every 15 minutes of time read is another chance to win a prize. Children may also count audio books as reading time. Reading logs can be returned through the outside book drop.

Check out the Children’s Services Facebook page, Boulder Jct. Public Library Kids, or https://www.boulderjunctionlibrary.org/ for weekly updates.

Call the library at 715-385-2050 to schedule a time to pick up “take-and-make” materials and reading logs.

The Boulder Junction Public Library welcomes children of all abilities. All programs are free of charge.
