Lupine Junefest Bike Tour on June 13

May 22, 2020

The 14th annual Lupine Junefest Bike Tour will be held on Saturday, June 13, at Carow Park, on Hwy. J, in Mercer.

The event celebrates the blossoming lupines and the beginning of summer, featuring four different bike tours, a bird festival, educational booths and demonstrations from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The bike tours will include 10-, 15-, 28- and 50-mile road rides as well as a “pick your own distance” ride on the paved bike trail. The routes will take bicyclists on paved roads and trails, along lakes and rivers, among the beautiful lupine flowers.

All four of the bike tours will begin and end at Carow Park, where the festivities of the Mercer Bird Festival and community interest booths are located.

Day of registration for the bike tours starts at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 13 with a group start at 8 a.m. The early registration fee of $35 includes a T-shirt, goodie bag, snacks and a lunch ticket. Day-of registration is $40.
