Oneida County Supervisors candidates forum March 18

The League of Women Voters of the Northwoods is sponsoring a Candidate Forum for the District 11 Oneida County Supervisors to be held on Wednesday, March 18 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Crescent Town Hall, 3231 Golf Course Rd.  This Forum, which is open to the public, will include only the candidates in the District 11 race, Karen Kitze, LWVNOW Board Member, will moderate the forum. The Spring Election will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

We have invited the two candidates who are competing for the District 11 seat and both Robb Jensen and Robert J. Thome have agreed to participate.                     

The public is encouraged to attend this nonpartisan event. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the forum will start promptly at 6:00 Audience members are encouraged to submit written questions for the candidates.  The candidates will provide opening and closing statements.

The League of Women Voters of the Northwoods (LWVNOW) currently encompasses the northern Wisconsin counties of Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, and Vilas. The Northwoods League belongs to the State and National League of Women Voters. The League is a non-partisan organization devoted to helping members and fellow citizens develop educated political opinions and act upon them through the democratic process.
