The Warehouse Empty Bowls event on July 18

July 14, 2020

The Warehouse Community Arts Center in Eagle River is holding its third annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 18. This year it is a reimagined socially distant event, with options to attend in person or to shop online by going to www.eagleriverart.com and participate now through the day of the event. The purpose of this event is to raise funds to help aid in the operation costs of the Warehouse and collect nonperishable goods destined for the local food pantry in Eagle River.

Those attending in person will be required to follow social distancing guidelines and use hand sanitizing station upon entry. Select a unique hand-crafted bowl which includes a gift certificate for a free bowl of soup from participating restaurants. Then select the monetary level of purchase, from $20, $30 and $50. Each level offers more raffle tickets. These raffle tickets are chances to win art created by Warehouse artist instructors.

Local singer/songwriter Brett Winters will perform live starting at 11 a.m. and Inspiration Bar will be open.

The online option is completed by visiting www.eagleriverart.com. Warehouse staff will randomly place raffle tickets. Choose to pick up curbside or have the bowl shipped to for an additional cost.
