‘Caring good neighbors’

October 04, 2019

To the Editor:

I wish to express my gratitude to those who came to my aide this past week. How fortunate we are to live in a community where caring good neighbors are willing to help.

I managed to lock my keys in the car while at Stoney Creek. While trying to decide what to do, Pam, a nurse at MHLT, came to my rescue. She stayed with me for 45 minutes to an hour helping with phone calls, including AAA, to no avail.

A caring gentleman from Island Collision Center came over and had my car unlocked in a matter of minutes.

Thank you both for your help. I will never forget your kindness.
