The ‘best’ care

January 07, 2020

To the Editor:

This past July (2019), while vacationing in the Lakeland area, I had a “heart attack,” which led me to use the services of Howard Young Medical Center ER, Ascension-Spirit Medical Transport and a Oneida County Medical Unit.

I would like to express my gratitude to everyone at Howard Young ER, Spirit for their medical transport to St. Clare’s in Wausau, (where I had an emergency heart procedure) and Med 5 for an Emergency Notification to a family member.

Our son Greg Rosenthal was a flight paramedic on Spirit helicopter that crashed and took his life April 26, 2018, along with the pilot and a RN. He used to say, if we ever needed emergency care while in the Lakeland area, the medical teams at HYMC, Spirit, and Med 5, were the “best” and would provide excellent care. I’m here to testify that I did receive the “best” care and would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone on those teams. Thanks to All EMS Personal for what you do to help save lives!

Ernie Rosenthal
