Irma Jean Hunger

Irma Jean Hunger nee; Hurt, 88 of Lindenhurst, Ill., and formally of Minocqua, and Deerfield, Ill., passed away Sept. 15, 2019 at the Village of Victory Lakes. She was born Jan. 4, 1931 in Lakewood, Ohio, Irma was born into the union of Guy and Florence Hurt.

Irma is survived by her son; Steven (Pamela) Hunger of Tracy, Calif., her daughter; Pamela (Jeffrey) Henkin of Grayslake, Ill., her grandchildren; Gregory (Andrea) Henkin of Wildwood, Ill., and Christopher (Christine) Hunger of Morgan Hill, Calif., her great-grandchildren; Ryan, Finn, and Kira Hunger of Morgan Hill, Calif., sisters; Carol Esry of Lakewood, Ohio, Judy Sealy of Grand Junction, Colo., and Barbara (Frank) Snyder of Lakewood, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews, preceded in death by her husband Robert Hunger, her parents Guy and Florence Hurt, and her brother Charles (the late Catherine) Hurt.

Memorial gathering was held 9:30 a.m. until time of memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 in the Great Room at the Village of Victory Lakes 1075 Victory Lane, Lindenhurst, IL 60046. Interment of cremains will be held the summer of 2020 at the Cemetery of the Pines in Boulder Junction. The Symonds Lakes Funeral Home of Grayslake were entrusted with arrangements.
