Nada Dimitrijevich

Nada Dimitrijevich, 98, of Woodruff, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019 at Avanti Rehab Center, Minocqua.

She was born Oct. 20, 1920 in Koln, Germany, the daughter of Kasper and Carolina Lang.

As a young woman, she was educated as a seamstress in Germany. After World War II, she and her husband, George, emigrated to the U.S. in 1951 crossing the Atlantic Ocean on the USS General Muir with their daughter, Karen, and son, Alex. They settled in Kenosha, moving to Woodruff in 1981. She had a passion for petitpoint, reading, and crossword puzzles, and of course, her family.

Nada was preceded in death by her husband, George and niece, Marina Tritten.

Survivors include her daughter Karen (Robert) Lang of St. Germain, a son, Alex (Sharon) Dimitrijevich of Arbor Vitae, sister, Inge Susewind of Kenosha, six granddaughters, 10 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and two nieces. 

A private memorial gathering was held on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Bolger Funeral Home-Woodruff Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Garden Cemetery.  www.bolgerfuneral.com
