Richard (Rich) M. Enzenbacher

Richard (Rich) M. Enzenbacher, 79, of Winchester, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, with his wife and best friend, Patricia, by his side. 

Rich was born to the late Edwin and Helena Enzenbacher on Jan. 30, 1940, in Chicago. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa (William) Braun and Lynn (Jon) Sanders, and grandchildren Jake, Raymond, Jeremy, Wyatt, Elizabeth, and Katherine. Rich is further survived by his step-children, Michelle (Michael) Schmitz and James (Dawn) Wallace, grandchildren Nicholas and Katherine, and his beloved cats Magnus and Madeleine, as well as many loving relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Rich retired from a long career at Ingersoll Rand in Milwaukee as a heavy equipment mechanic. In addition to his love of machinery, he enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, watching old movies, rooting for his favorite baseball team, the Chicago Cubs, and telling the occasional story to his grandchildren. Rich enjoyed life on Birch Lake surrounded by wildlife. He remained busy working various musky tournaments, and as a board member of both the local fire department and lake association. Rich will be greatly missed by everyone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Winchester Fire Department.
